What can you see with us?

Our exhibition is inspired by action heroes, cars and pop culture icons

Action Heroes

The Thor-inspired sculpture looks as if he has just thrown his steel hammer and is now trying in vain to remember exactly where it landed. Maybe there’s a hole in the wall somewhere in the gallery that hasn’t been repaired yet.

The exhibition of steel sculptures of action heroes has become a place where admiration, humour and a bit of surrealism mix. Whether you’re a superhero fan or just an art lover, this exhibition is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Famous cars

Legendary replica cars made from recycled steel bring the past to life with a modern ecological twist. Meticulously crafted in the details of iconic cars, these masterpieces combine historic beauty with sustainable materials.

Each car tells its own story of recycling and art, reusing steel that would otherwise end up as waste. These replicas are not only a tribute to automotive history, but also proof that art and ecology can go hand in hand.

Cultural icons and famous personalities

Statues of the English Royal Guard or Michael Jackson, made of steel, combine historical grandeur with iconic modern art. Detailed with precision to capture the famous uniform of the Guardsmen or the unmistakable dance and style of the King of Pop, each statue brings a unique touch of elegance and cultural legacy to the present day.

Dinosaurs and the animal world

Dinosaur sculptures made of steel bring prehistory back to the present with modern industrial charm. Meticulously crafted in detail to faithfully mimic a Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops or Velociraptor, these impressive sculptures combine the ancient past with the durable material of today.

Each steel dinosaur tells its own story of strength and permanence, transforming raw steel into a work of art that fascinates visitors of all ages. These sculptures are not only reminders of long-gone giants, but also a demonstration of how modern craftsmanship can bring ancient history to life.

crown Favourite cartoon characters

Inspired by popular characters from The Simpsons, Shrek, Aliens and WALL-E, the steel sculptures bring playfulness and nostalgia to the world of art.

Homer Simpson with his typical sloppiness and donuts in hand, Shrek with his iconic smile and good-natured good looks, the Outlaws in their comical and irresistible chaos, and WALL-E, the robotic hero with big eyes full of hope and curiosity – all these characters are masterfully crafted in steel that gives them a new, timeless dimension. These sculptures not only recall beloved stories and heroes, but also prove that steel can be as playful and moving as the animated world it represents.

how the steel art museum was founded

History of our museum

The Gallery of Steel Figures (GSF) is unique in the world for its life-size sculptures made from recycled scrap metal. The idea for this project originated in Poland at the “Skup Złomu przy Czołgu” (Scrap yard near the tank) in Pruszków, near Warsaw.

The creator of the project is “Jose” Mariusz Olejnik, originally from Poland, who has been trying to spread his unique project around the world since 2011. It was at the “Skup Złomu” scrap yard that the first sculpture was created by his team. It was a coffee table made from a V8 engine.

The whole idea came about as a reaction to the crisis in the scrap market at the time, when the price of scrap metal had fallen dramatically. “Jose” Mariusz Olejnik was thinking about how to use the large amount of scrap, until he came up with the idea of using some of the recycled scrap for art in the form of steel figures. His inspiration came from his memories and dreams combined with his passion for the auto-moto world.
